Joe is a co-founder of Paiement Law Office, L.L.C. His primary areas of practice include business law, criminal and civil litigation, creditor remedies, personal injury, real estate, and Indian law. His clients include financial institutions, closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, and tribal entities located nationwide.
Joe is also an adjunct instructor with the Falmouth Institute, where he teaches and provides legal services to Native American tribes and businesses in the areas of federal Indian law, tribal constitutions and governance and ethics.
Prior to co-founding Paiement Law Office, L.L.C., Joe was General Counsel for Treasure Island Resort & Casino and a partner with the Minneapolis law firm of Arnold & McDowell.
Joe graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in politic science and philosophy. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1985. Joe is licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Joe is a Chair of the Lakeland City Planning Commission and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
